  • The most important thing for you to know about me is that I love my work. I love meeting new people and I love getting to know them and continuing to know them over the years through major & minor life events. I feel privileged to be included in some of your biggest milestones. I don't just want to photograph you or your family; I want to be a part of your lives. I want to laugh and cry with you. I want to snuggle your baby. I want to play with your kiddos. I want to admire the miracle of life growing inside you. I want to celebrate your love. I want to capture your connection. I want to freeze moments in time because these are important moments.

Karli and Jordan :: married

Karli and Jordan will celebrate their one year anniversary in six days and I wish them the happiest of celebrations because they are a truly special duo. They are certainly some of the most genuinely kind people I have met and they are so incredibly perfect together. Everything about them and their day was fun and real and special and touching. I dearly love Karli, but I have to say a few words about Jordan because brides do tend to get a great deal of the spotlight on wedding day. If I had to describe him in one word, it would be – interested. He is 100% interested and engaged with the person he is with. Everyone he deals and talks to gets his full attention and interest. He’s a great person that is 50% of a great couple.

Make sure you check out their wedding trailer so you can see what I mean.

Karmen has a sweet sassiness about her that I love to see in females. All my good girl friends in this world have some combination of that. She’s super fun and honest and I totally enjoyed capturing her spirit and beauty.

Paid Labor

Here we have a family I adore. We’ve been collaborating (which really means they show up with their awesomeness and I capture it) for 8 years. I know I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating – I love working with people that I’ve already established a relationship with and these guys are so sweet and fun and real. Also, I love that I paid the kiddos a dollar to cooperate. And they cashed in – we have photo proof. Thanks, Schepps, for trusting me with your awesome memories for so many years.

Grey & Jack

This first photos feels a little like click bait because these guys really aren’t twins. What they are, are cousins that were born exactly one week apart at exactly the same weight and both families booked newborn sessions with me. So, you will see some photos of Jack and some of Grey and some of them together and all just squishy and fun cuteness.

Bailey is a stud runner and is now a high school graduate. He’s as charming as he is stylish as he is fit. I think that’s what you call the total package, amiright?
